With a strong background in stand-up comedy as well as journalism, Annie has mastered the art of being serious one minute and funny the next.
Annie started comedy at 16 and never looked back. She recently wrote and hosted a documentary, Cross Border Comedy, about the stand-up scene in Asia, which is now streaming on ABC iView and YouTube.
As a popular host, she has been a guest presenter on ABC's Back Roads program, and fronted two seasons of China Tonight (ABC TV) as well as the travel series Rediscover Victoria (Channel 31 and SBS on Demand).
Annie has appeared on programs such as The Cheap Seats (Channel 10) and The Weekly (ABC TV), and can be heard regularly on radio shows across Australia.
She has also performed at some of the most sought-after gigs around the country, including the Comedy Festival’s Opening Night Allstars Supershow at the Palais Theatre.
When not on the stage, Annie is busy creating her own content. She was one of the recipients of ABC TV and Screen Australia's Fresh Blood funding, where she created a series of sketches titled I'm So Sorry for Your Loss (YouTube).
