Comedian
Annie’s performances have taken her to music festivals, regional venues, schools, corporate stages and more.
In 2021, she performed as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Opening Night Allstars Gala at the Palais Theatre – a dream gig for many Aussie comedians. One of her gags from the televised show has racked up nearly 55,000 views on Tik Tok.
Annie brings her A-game regardless of whether it’s 20 people at the pub or 2,000 at a fancy-schmancy theatre.
Her solo shows combine stand-up with a bunch of other skills thrown in for good measure, like clowning, improvisation and storytelling. Her most recent solo show, ‘Annie Louey’s Big Break’ saw her collaborating with a live percussionist/double bass player.
Away from the stage, Annie champions inclusive comedy and supports the next generation of comedians by producing Lemon Comedy in Melbourne, mentoring emerging artists and holding workshops for people of all ages.
